“Surf Life Saving”

The Australian Surf Lifesaving Championships will make its long-awaited return to the Sunshine Coast this weekend, with more than 8100 competitors going head to head across three beaches and nine action packed days of competition.

A number of improvements will be made to lifeguard services between Caloundra and Coolum to ensure Sunshine Coast beaches are even safer under the Surf Life Saving Queensland – Sunshine Coast Council Lifeguard Service Plan 2023-2028.
